The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has taken a remarkable step towards sustainable transport with the launch of three electric buses connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to GIFT City. The introduction of these eco-friendly buses is an important step towards the country’s goal of promoting green mobility.

These buses were introduced under the FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India) program of the Government of India.

The introduction of these electric buses is expected to significantly reduce the region’s carbon footprint, resulting in a cleaner and greener environment. Not only does it reduce air pollution, but it also reduces noise pollution because it operates quietly.

Electric buses are equipped with modern conveniences such as air conditioning, WiFi, and GPS tracking systems to ensure comfortable and convenient travel for commuters. The buses are also equipped with security equipment such as surveillance cameras, fire extinguishers, and emergency hammers.

The introduction of electric buses is a step in the right direction towards a sustainable future. With growing concerns about climate change and pollution, it is imperative to adopt environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
